Who is responsible

Vale Heart Co operates this website and is responsible for the personal data described below. For any question about this notice, or to exercise any of the rights set out in it, write to [email protected].

What this site collects

This is a static website. It does not use advertising trackers, cross-site tracking pixels, or behavioural profiling, and it does not sell or share personal data with third parties for their own purposes.

Two things are collected:

  • Server logs. Our web server records the IP address, request time, requested URL, referring page and browser user agent for each request. This is ordinary operational logging, used to keep the site available and to investigate abuse and faults. Logs are retained for a limited period and then deleted.
  • Enquiries you send us. If you use the contact form or email us, we receive whatever you choose to put in the message — typically your name, email address, organisation and a description of your problem. We use it to reply to you and, if we go on to work together, to run the engagement.

Cookies

This site sets no cookies of its own and does not use an analytics platform.

Web fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. That request carries your IP address and is subject to Google's own privacy terms. Nothing else on this site loads from a third party.

Why we are allowed to hold it

Server logs are processed on the basis of our legitimate interest in operating a secure and available website. Enquiries are processed on the basis of your request to be contacted and, where a relationship follows, the performance of our agreement with you.

How long we keep it

Server logs are rotated and deleted on a short cycle. Enquiries that do not lead to a relationship are deleted once the conversation has plainly ended. Records relating to an engagement are retained for as long as we have a contractual or legal reason to hold them, and then deleted.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or object to our processing of it. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month. You may also complain to your local data protection authority if you are not satisfied with how we have handled a request.

Changes

If this notice changes materially we will update the date at the top of this page. Older versions are available on request.
