Vale Heart Co

We map the ground before we build on it.

Vale Heart Co is a digital consultancy. Most of our work starts with something that half-works — a site, a funnel, a stack, a set of numbers nobody trusts — and a team that needs to know what is actually wrong before they spend another quarter on it.

What we do

Five practices. Most engagements use two or three of them.

  • Digital strategy

Where the money is going, what it is buying, and which of the next five things on the roadmap are worth doing.

  • Design and build

Websites, landing pages, internal tools and the integrations between them. Built to be handed over, not to keep us employed.

  • Marketing operations

Email infrastructure, CRM, lifecycle programmes and the unglamorous plumbing that decides whether any of it reaches anyone.

  • Data and measurement

Tracking that survives a redesign, attribution people believe, and reporting that answers the question someone actually asked.

  • Platform and infrastructure

Hosting, migrations, performance and security posture — the layer that only gets attention on the day it fails.

How we think

Diagnosis before prescription

Nobody needs another vendor with a favourite solution. The first thing we do is measure what is happening now, in the live system, with the real traffic — because the problem is very often not the one in the brief. A rebuild that skips this step reproduces the original fault in newer code.

The constraint is rarely the technology

Slow sites, broken reporting and stalled roadmaps are usually the visible end of an ownership problem: two teams each assuming the other watches a thing, a vendor contract nobody has read, a decision made for good reasons three years ago that nothing has revisited. We say so when that is what we find.

You should be able to run it without us

Every engagement ends with the documentation, the access and the walkthrough needed to operate what we built. If keeping it alive requires us, we designed it badly. Retained support exists because clients ask for it, not because the work cannot stand on its own.

Where we are useful

If one of these is your week, we have probably seen it.

Some patterns come up often enough that we recognise them early.

  • Conversion has dropped and the analytics say nothing changed
  • A platform migration keeps slipping because nobody can scope what is on the old system
  • Email volume is up and delivery is down
  • Two reports disagree and the meeting has stopped being about the business
  • The site is fast in the lab and slow for customers
  • A security review has produced a list and no order of operations

Next step

Tell us what is not working.

A first conversation is a call, not a pitch. Come with the symptom — the number that moved, the deadline that slipped, the thing that keeps breaking. We will tell you whether it is something we can help with, and say so plainly if it is not.
